Christmas GenR8 2023

The W. Norfolk GenR8 team is an affiliate of the Cambridge based GenR8 organisation. We visit primary schools to share Christian themes and Bible stories and to think about what Christians believe.

Our Christmas 2023 assembly was entitled ‘Christmas Hope’. It told of the hope that Jesus Christ brought (and still brings) to the world and the part that the angels played on that first Christmas.

The 25-minute assembly is fun-filled with the following elements:

  • a skit about hoping (and not hopping!!)

  • puppets discussing Christmas nativity plays

  • a GenR8 nativity play - from the point of view of the angels!

  • a song ‘The Angels Say’

  • reflection and prayer to finish
